Jay (Janet) Germaine was raised in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts. She attended Wheaton College in Illinois, where she and Dick met. They are in their 50^th year of marriage, have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. She taught public school in Gloucester before their family came. Then as the family grew, she was a Hopkinton Christian preschool teacher for 23 years. Having worked as a bank teller before attending college helped in her role as Financial Secretary for Barnabas Ministries, Inc.
