Pastor Phil Engelman, Barnabas Ministries Georgia
Phil Engelman has been married to his wife, Sue, for forty years. They have four grown children and five grandchildren (with two more on the way.) God gave them the vision for a ministry to pastors 21 years ago, and after completing 34 years of pastoral ministry in April, of 2011, they moved from Florida to Georgia to direct Grace Valley Ministries in Canton. A significant part of what Phil is doing with the ministry in Georgia is in perfect step with Barnabas Ministries Inc.
Phil graduated from seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1993, after his first 13 years in pastoral ministry. He had graduated from Florida Bible College in 1973 where he met Bill Fillmore who now serves as a regional director with Barnabas. His most recent pastoral ministry was in Palm Harbor, Florida where he and his wife planted a church fifteen years ago.
Phil met Dick Germaine at the Caregivers Forum in October of 2010, and recognized that God was doing a wonderful work through Barnabas. He is excited about sharing in the movement God has raised up through Barnabas and serves as a regional director in north Georgia.
